Hey everyone (that actually reads this). We got back from Texas Monday morning after playing at the Ridglea Theatre in Fort Worth. Twenty other bands played including A Thorn For Every Heart, Daphne Loves Derby, and Still Life Projector. The show was part of the MTV series My Super Sweet Sixteen. They actually gave us a little 15 second promo so we'll see if it airs. Im not sure when the show will actually air, prob in a few months. Here are a few pics from the show:
It was our first time to Texas and driving 18 hours straight had its ups and downs, but it was alot of fun. We have a show this Sunday at the Henderson Pavillion. Next saturday we have a show at the Alley. It's $10 bucks and starts at 7. Also, our EP is now up on smartpunk.com! Click here to order. Hello all, i know its been a while. I just got back from picking up the cd's and they look awesome. I can't belive this EP is finally done. We have really been through alot as a band and its just great to have our first release out and done with. The artwork was done by Nick and Tom Vincent and it came out amazing. I am really excited for whats coming up in the next few months. On saturday we are playing Charley's Cafe in Pasadena, CA. Then a week from that on the 27th we will be finally playing here in Vegas at The Alley(Family Music). Sept 10th we will be playing a huge party in Texas. I can't really give out any details yet but dam it should be sick. At the end of Sept. we will be going on a week tour hitting up most of california and also a date in AZ and Utah. After that we'll come back and write some new songs, and then in January we should be heading back out on tour and maybe hit the east coast. We have a few new songs pretty much written and im really excited on how they are turning out. I'd say they are a bit more progressive, and one of them is the heaviest song we've written. But ya everyone should come next saturday the 27th to our show at the alley. It will be our cd release and im sure it will be dam exciting. Pick up the EP for only $5 bucks! Anias, In Camera, Cedardrive, and one more possibly tba. $10.00, starts at 6:30. See you all soon.

Hello. Tuesday night was pretty crazy. We all showed up at the Anberlin show at the Roadhouse to find out it had been cancelled because of a shooting that went down there at a hip hop show last week. Wow. SO no more shows at the roadhouse. Bummer. Anyway, Anberlin was the only band that actually showed up, and all of a sudden fiftty cars are following them to this church where they claim they are gunna play. So we get there and theres Anberlin setting up in this little shack next to a church. It was amazing. Carlos and I did some guest vocals when they played "Time and Confusion". Our friend Scott offered Anberlin 100 bucks for us to use there gear and play a few songs. They declined. Haha Scott is awesome. After the show Carlos somehow manages to organize a practice/show where we practice and invites everyone. It ended up being pretty cool. Scott brought 3 pizza's and soda. AMAZING. Scott rules. Alright thats it for that little story. Another month until we finish the ep. :( Its gonna be worth the wait though. I dont think im ready for the Vegas summer heat. Here it comes....

whats up everyone,
i just got back from the east coast last night, and everything was awesome except for the humidity. in 6 days i got to see boston, vermont, and new york city with my sexy baby! kisses on the empire state building! :). well now it's time to get back to work. im excited to see my radical bandmates, and friends that i miss arguing with. this is going to be a good summer for anias. we have some big plans and some fun trips ahead of us. we're starting to work on new material even though our overdue e.p. is coming out soon. thank you again to everyone for baring with us and sticking around. one love

hey everyone, long time huh? well im here to let you know some ramblings about us and what we're planning to do. first i have to let everyone know that we're all doing better, we've had incredible support through this time from all of our loved ones, friends, and family, which we cherish, and feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. the e.p. "the youthful preface of a revolutionary chapter" is being pushed back again, hopefully for the last time. good news is we're having Dave Swanson mix it this time which we're really excited for, he's mixed Rufio, Halifax, Name Taken, Novice, and many more big names that i can't think of right now. the e.p. release date is probably going to be in late july, and our cd release show (and first show back) is probably going to be at jillians in early august. well for ramblings: im going to vermont this weekend? yeah. Nick, Aaron, and I saw Star Wars a few days ago! (it was the first star wars i had ever seen.). my liver hurts. you guys mean everything to us, thank you for helping us through this.

RYAN RUSSEL STEVENS - 6/24/84-5/15/05
We regret to inform you:
Our beloved friend, bass player, and the heart and soul of Anias passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005. Ryan Russel Stevens was an incredible friend and was loved by everyone. Ryan was a guy who loved and lived life to the fullest. He devoted his life to his family, friends, and music; always putting others before him, never selfish and always giving. A guy who loved to laugh and bring smiles to others. A guy so dedicated and hardworking to get what he wanted, and he always accomplished everything. Ryan Russel Stevens was an exceptional musician, not only our best friend. He rocked the stage with an extreme intensity. He always gave more than he could and without Ryan, Anias would be nothing. Ryan will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and will live on forever through all of us. Ryan we miss you so much!
Goodbye our Dear Friend.
Thank you to everyone for all their support though this hard time. Please take this time to remember him.

hey guys,
long time huh? well here's what's going on. the show at jillians was incredible and we had a great time. we have another show coming up this weekend FRIDAY THE 13TH at gameworks with a whole bunch of rad bands so everyone should come out and support them. we're in riverside, ca this whole weekend tracking a couple more songs for the e.p.. from what i hear everything is going great! we're going to have the whole e.p. up for stream on our my space and purevolume site once they're done. i'll try and post more later, thanx again to everyone for all your wonderful and endless support and continuing to come out to shows. we'll see you guys soon and have some new jams up really soon.

Hello everyone sorry for the delay in updates. Heres whats coming up in the next few weeks. April 29th we are heading down to San Diego to play at the Epicenter with our boys in Bermuda. This will be our first time in San Diego so we are stoked. It will also be our first show as a four piece so we'll see how this goes. Then the next night we will be playing Jillians here in Vegas. This show is gonna be sick so everyone should go. Anias, Divided They Fall, Escape The Fate, Destruction OF A Rose, Betrayed By A Kiss, and Slam Dunk for only FIVE BUCKS. We will be playing a brand new song. Also, if you see something huge and furry that looks like an aniimal attached to my face, don't be alarmed, thats just my beard. It's so gorilla. We are going into the studio next month to record a couple more songs. But it looks like we are gonna need about $1000 bucks! So we really need as much help as we can get with merch sales. If you dont have a shirt it would be awesome if anyone could buy one. If you cant make it to the show you can get em at our store HERE. I think we are playen a show at Gameworks next month also. Alright hope to see everyone soon...

all i can say is that this show was better than we could of possibly imagined. we had the time of our lives meeting so many people that came up to us after our set fans, bands, promoters, etc. we'll have some pictures of Taste of Chaos up later today. the entire weekend was great non stop party full of good times and great memories. thanx so much to anyone and everyone who had anything to do with it.

hey what's up everyone, well the show friday night was incredible! i want to thank everyone who came out and anyone who wanted to but couldn't. i want to thank all the bands that played: camden, nathaniels endeavor, (another band but i can't remember there name), pistolita, slam dunk, a faith in fire, beacon, and our boys in amity, everyone played awesome. big thanx to the big hardcore stage next door aswell.
here's what's coming up:

last night was amazing! we had such a great time. to all of our fans we love you! i seriously can't thank you guys enough for continuing to come out and support us. well i gotta go drive six hours to my parents house in california now, so thanx again to everyone who came out, everyone that partied with us last night. thanx to in camera (there cd is amazing), and bermuda (awesome!) for always knowing haw to play great shows! we'll have some new pictures of the show a little later today. take care, and stay classy.

Ok we have three shows coming up three weekends in a row. Alright this Saturday the 19th we are playing The Roadhouse with Escape The Fate, Bermuda, and In Camera(awesome band from utah). The show is gonna be sick. Then next Friday the 25th we are at Gameworks with a whole shit load of good bands. I dont know what the lineup is but there is gonna be two stages so its gonna be fun. THEN, two weeks from tomorow we will be in Long Beach playing the acoustic stage at THE TASTE OF CHAOS TOUR. Wow I can't believe its only two weeks away. Ill prob post some pics and maybe some vids here or on our site from the shows. Thats all for now but if you live in Vegas please try and make it to one of our shows coming up! here's whats going on. i haven't slept more than 20 hours all week so i'm going to sleep now. a few interesting things are: 1. the title of our e.p. will probably be titled "the youthful preface of a revolutionary chapter". 2. there will be 5 songs on it, and they will be..... (nothing is set for sure in the order they will go)
1. cold hands warm hearts
2. do not use if seal is broken
3. ending friendships in record time
4. (track 4 is still untitled)
5. detection without destruction will also have a new title
3. we're planning on recording all of april and all the tracks will be redone.
4. we have a show coming up march 19th with in camera, and escape the fate. the show will be 10 dollars at the door, and due to the high price show that we had no part in choosing we will be selling tshirts for 8 dollars and giving away our demos for free. but here's the gimmick you have to tell us you saw this posted or you will have to resume with paying $10 shirts and 2$ cd.
